I have a metering shower: temporized for 30 second cycle, 10 liter/minute (from product data sheet). WEp1 simple form on leedonline notes "When using the metering lavatory faucet, please convert all flow rates in gallons per minute (GPM) to gallons per cycle (GPC) based on duration from the product specifications. Provide a narrative or calculations to support the installed flow rate. The "Duration" is not applicable and therefore should not be modified". Can I convert the flow rate in liters per minute to liters per cycle for the shower (10 liter/minute temporized for 30 second are 5 liter/cycle)? Or is the conversion applicable only to lavatory faucet?

Giorgia, I just happen to submit a design review with a timed shower. I calculated 3 30 second cycles at 10 liters a minute and then converted that to a flow rate counting 300 seconds and added a narrative to explain this. I will know in 6 weeks or so what the response will be...

Giorgia, I received the review comments. They did not accept the conversion for the showers. It is required to measure 300 seconds per shower.

Giorgia, Similar to the feedback Emmanuel received, the conversion is only applicable to metering faucets.
