Once you have established a raw score for each space (out of 100 based on APPA weightings) within a space type, you simply add all the raw scores for the spaces within a space type together and divide by the number of spaces you added together to get the average.

Please clarify me why calculator 'IEQ cr 3.2 APPA Audit Form-1.xls' from LeedUsers documentation toolkit does not calculate average score in columns? GBCI form only asks for Appearance level to enter. GBCI Credit Library/Resources tab does not provides any calculator. Is it possible to provide me updated file with all formulas corrected? If it's not, In which way can we calculate this final score without this calulator? Thanks

Hi Nenada, the average value is calculated in cell G2 in each of the audit form tabs. However, the spreadsheet only has 2 rooms on each audit form. So for example, on the Break Room tab, you can enter all the appearance levels for Space ID 1 in the first box (which starts at row 1), and then enter all the appearance levels for Space ID 2 in the second box (which starts at row 15). The average in cell G2 is the overall average of those two spaces. If you have more than 2 rooms (which you will for most space types), you'll need to duplicate the box and adjust the formula in cell G2 to capture the "Level = Raw Score / 100" value for each individual room that you add (e.g cell E11 and E24). Does that make sense?
