LEED Online allows to submit 4 + 1 credits. Can we submit more than 4 ID credits just to be on the safer side so that we may get all 4 points? If yes, how do we add them on LEED Online?

For NC and CS, actually it is up to 5 ID credits, though they cannot be limited to 5 exemplary performance ID credits. you cannot submit more at one time, but they do allow for you to substitute ID credits at the clarification and even appeal stage. these substitutions do not have access to the full review process, so it may cost you and appeal fee or two to get it through, but it is still an option.
