Hi Everyone, we have a building which has 37 dual flush for men and 8 Urinals, the Urinals are not in every toilet room (for example there are no urinals in the basement), there will be only one tenant - so how can i count for the second group, my idea to just say 8/45 =17% of the men can use urinals the other not. It is ok, i don´t want to make it so complicated as we have rainwater anyway. thank you very much, Tatjana

A review comment we received said "accurately reflect the percentage of males anticipated to use restrooms that contain urinals. Provide a narrative, as appropriate, to explain any special restroom usage patterns." You could definitely say 8/45 but you could potentially have a higher ratio -- maybe the number of toilets in restrooms without urinals plus the number of urinals as the denominator. (That would exclude the number of toilets in the restrooms that have urinals.) You'll also need to make two usage groups -- one for the restrooms with urinals and one for the restrooms without -- because the restrooms that have urinals will not get credit for the small flush of the dual flush toilets (men will be assumed to either use the urinal or the full flush on the toilet). One usage group will be the larger percentage of males and will have only dual flush toilets with NO urinals. The other usage group will be the smaller percentage of males (8/45 = 17% of your males based on your calcs) and will contain urinals and only the large flush of the toilets.
