For any of you who have struggled to download an older version of Safari to get LEED Online to work, I found a download solution. Safari version 5.0.3 Snow Leopard works on LEED Online. The trick has been downloading this older version with Mac OS 10.6 and later.
Here's what you do:
1. Download "Pacifist" from here: http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Utilities/Pacifist.shtml.
2. Download Safari 5.0.3 Snow Leopard from any number of sites; for now, just keep it in your Downloads folder (but don't minimize the folder)
3. Open the Pacifist.dmg install, open the app
4. With Pacifist open, go back to your Downloads folder and drag Safari 5.0.3 into Pacifist (a blank looking location will open)
5. Click on CONTENTS OF SAFARI 5.0.3 press the Install button on top; do not unckeck USE ADMINISTRSTOR PRIVILAGES
6. Click on "Replace" when asked in several instances (you can select not to ask this again)
7. After installation is done restart your computer and Safari 5.0.3 should be installed. Look for it on your Applications or dock.
You'll find that after logging into LEED Online that it's fully functional.
You can thank me later or send gifts. Haha!
Cheers,
Elliot
