Dear all: We have an specific question related to the Whole Building Simulation of an office Building. The electricity distribution company established a maximum limit of energy use for the building according to typical local requirements. If the building uses more electricity the company will penalize the building during the periods of overuse of energy. For that reason the building incorporated a control system which is a system of “Demand Limiting Control” that limits the electricity use by the lighting and air conditioning systems during periods penalized by the electric distribution company. The implementation of such control system could be considered as a strategy for saving energy? If yes, this demand control system must be simulated in the base line model as in the proposed project model? I hope I presented the question clearly so I can get any feedback from you guys. If not, please let me know! Cheers!
