We received our design application decision and 1 credit was denied. We noticed this was due to a simple documentation error which can be easily corrected. What is the protocol for having this credit reviewed? Must we submit and pay for design review appeal? What is the cost and timeframe for this?

Good question, and something we have not run up against yet. We have had a few instances where the reviewers did not see or consider some data we uploaded or provided, that we felt complied. In a couple of those, we had to appeal (and were successful) and in a couple of others, direct contact with GBCI has resolved the issue without appeal.
I take it that the issue did not come up in the technical recommendations before they issued the review? This has caught issues for us several times.
Hopefully someone at GBCI will respond to your question. As for cost, the appeal will be $800 for complex credits and $500 for the rest. Our appeals were all some time ago, so I remember the costs as being less then.
