I have achieved an ID credit for my client in the past, based on fulfilling two of the three requirements of the CIR. One of the parts is the signage related to the sustainable design elements of the building. In the past, they had their signage vendor make small signs to install throughout their space. They have decided that instead of the signs, they would like to incorporate that info in their video wall that would run a slide show of that content instead. My concern with this is that I am not sure if this will meet the requirements of the credit. First, the video wall is on during business hours and is in their lobby, but the content is cyclical. They use it for other purposes as well- for example, they have adverts for their products like loans or special checking accounts. My question is if this type of 'sustainable design signage' would meet the credit because: - I am not clear if 'electronic signage' delivery would suffice instead of physically installed signs? - the video wall itself and the content is not 100% devoted to sustainable design. Thoughts? Similar project experience? Thanks.
