What is the VOC limit for COLD FLUID-APPLIED WATERPROOFING RUBBER MEMBRANE which is used under ceramic or in kitchen/bathrooms?? I need your support, since there is no obvious limits for COLD FLUID-APPLIED WATERPROOFING RUBBER MEMBRANE.

USGBC provided an interpretation a few years ago clarifying that the membrane itself is not subject to this credit, so you're in the clear. (Yes, it is confusing as written.)

Thanks Mara for your support, but what about COLD FLUID-APPLIED WATERPROOFING which mixed and applied directry to the concrete slabs(not a membrane), can we consider it as (concrete/masonry sealer) with VOC limit 250 g/litre?

Hi Ibrahim, sorry, I misread your original question and didn't see the reference to kitchens/bathroom. Yes, I would use the 250 g/L limit.

Hi Ibrahim, Be sure to classify this material under IEQ 4.2 paint and coatings when you report it (this thread is IEQ 4.1 for Adhesives and Sealants). The limit depends on the substrate you are applying the waterproofing to, and since you mentioned it is applied to concrete the limit is 400g/L as a Waterproofing Concrete/Masonry Sealer. If it was any other substrate then it would be classified as Waterproofing Sealer with a limit of 250 g/L.
