VLT

Hello, If the window looks like sandwich, a piece of glass( VLT1) , air gap, another piece of glass(VLT2) , how to define the VLT of that window? Can we use VLT1 x VLT2 as the window's VLT? Thanks

Diana, The manufacturers data will provide the VLT of the Window. Depending on how the unit is built, such as thickness of glass one, location of any films or coatings, and the thickness of glass two, will determine the center of glass VLTs.

Diana, you can also use Window6 software to calculate by inputting each glass type and the thickness of the gap.
