Hi, I’m currently working on a LEED project in Egypt. Waste handling is a new subject for us and I need some guidelines on the following:
1. Approximate area needed for waste collection/segregation
2. Preferred on-site location for waste collection/segregation
3. Access needed (to reach the location)
Many Thanks

These questions are project specific; what types of waste do you expect to generate? What are local hauling and waste management practices? How much space is available for containers? What kinds of recycling facilities or separation facilities are near your project site?
This is all about sitting down w/ the team and working thru these issues and writing up a plan.

Yes Amgad it sounds like you need to start by developing your construction waste management plan and work with your team to identify these answers for your project such as Tobie has described.
Check out the Resources section of this credit here on LEEDuser.com and in particular the Technical Guides for sample Construction Waste Management Plans.
