Capturing heat recapture for absorption dhillers

We are working on a college campus that will have a new central plant. We have a onsite micro turbine generators that provide power to the site. The heat from those turbines is used as a heat source for the dual fired double effect absorption chillers. How do I model the onsite electricity generation? And the energy recovery used for the chillers? Also, I our engineer thinks this condition might be considered worthly of a campus wide ID credit. I believe the energy efficiency of the system will ultimate be reflected in the energy calcs and NOT be availalbe for an ID credit. Thanks for your help.

Regarding onsite electricity generation see the exception of Section G2.4 of Appendix G. I agree with you, typically energy savings strategies that help garner points under EA C1 do not achieve ID credits.
