I have a Client that is considering LEED certification, we have done a preliminary energy model, we show a 24% savings off the baseline. EA prerequisite 2 asks for a demonstration of 10% energy savings. With the 24% savings we are showing - does the 10% act as a subtraction for EA credit 1? Giving us 2 points for EA credit 1 or will we realize the entire 24% to achieve 7 points?

Joanne, with a 24% energy cost savings when compared to the baseline you will achieve EA Prereq #2 and will be awarded 7 points in EA Credit #1.
