That's not a problem, but keep in mind that you will want to have as much control over your recycling containers as possible to avoid contamination and unwanted dumping.

There are two things that come to mind Roberto with locating the recycling containers outside the LEED project boundary. Control, as mentioned, is important. Locking the containers is one solution we have used to avoid theft (metals are a hot commodity!), and the contamination and dumping issues, even when they are located on-site. The other consideration is ease of access for the crew. The more convenient the containers are for the workers, the more successful the effort will be. I hope the trash containers are also located with the recycling. If not, I would suggest reversing them to have the recycling containers be the most convenient to the building and the trash located in the less convenient spot.
