With IES software you can address all forms of simulation including Artificial Lighting, Daylighting, Cooling Loads Calculation, Energy Modelling, Thermal Comfort, HVAC Design, Real time HVAC Controls interfaces , Natural ventilation and CFD. The best advantage is that all this is done in an integrated environment with a SINGLE building model.

Any new insight about IES ? We are currently hesitating between IES and Design builder and feedback or reference would help. Regards

Maybe not for all credits ? but it now includes :"More ASHRAE 90.1 and LEED options including Appendix G constructions and outline baseline HVAC systems". I was more looking into IES as many of my friends recommended it. But here in South Korea Energyplus and thus DesingBuilder is very popular.
