Guide to Exemplary Performance Credits in LEED-NC v4

Here’s where to look in LEED-NC v4 to achieve Exemplary Performance (EP) credits under the Innovation credit. We’ve compiled the benchmarks you’ll need to hit for each credit, and included our own notes on how achievable each benchmark is so that you can focus your efforts and maximize your Innovation points.

For exemplary performance, teams must pursue Option 1 (Historic District) AND either Option 2 (Priority Designation) or Option 3 (Brownfield Remediation).
