Does gravel count as vegetated open space where there are bushes and other plantings in the gravel area?

In the FAQ section above, it says "The two options are available to be used on the basis of an individual product or material, so you can mix and match as needed." Does anyone know how to do this?

I am modeling a new building(Laboratory/office) on a university campus following LEED v4 Option 1, Whole Building Energy Simulation. New Building is 3 story and 69,500 sq.ft .

What is the required monitoring period for this credit?

I have a church that runs extended house 9am-10pm 6.5 days a week has classrooms that are not heavily occupied. In classifying it the occupancy looks more like an office with extended hours.

EAp2 was denied in our final design review. We are going to appeal this by addressing their comments and getting the energy savings above 10%. My question is, IF the appeal is denied, what then?

This may be an obvious answer, but it seems a little vague to me.

Does anyone know if this applies to new construction only or do renovated spaces need to be upgraded to meet this? My project is 17% new/83% renovation.
