Hi There,
I am currently working on a zero-lot line project in Dublin, where the developer does not have the authority to install any cycle storage areas directly outside of the building. They are providing long term cycle parking in the basement of the building accessible to FTE, but this is not intended to be used for visitors. The building is part of a larger development which will be providing public cycle parking spaces in nearby.
If we were to show that public parking spaces newly installed as part of the neighborhood development are within the required distances, could they be used as short-term visitor parking?
Thanks

Hi Zach, if you were to take this approach I'd recommend treating it like a LEED campus credit: demonstrate that the new public parking is enough to meet the LEED requirement for all buildings in the new development. So you'd need an estimate of the total development occupancy and to perform the LEED calculation based on that.
