We found the PtD worksheet to be a helpful tool during Design and Construction process reviews. Our project is a University project, where the Safety + Health Mission of the University aligned nicely with the requirements of this credit. The worksheet provided the team with a ongoing tool to identify and track safety + health measures throughout the various stages of design, and explore measures that otherwise may have been overlooked. This Pilot credit forced collaboration on Safety + Health and proved to be an asset to the project process.

I agree! We are completing 3 design/build projects so the design and construction team worked together during the course of the entire project to address safety and health issues. Both the client and our company have a well-developed safety and health focus including stringent safety plans and protocol and training, which encouraged the team to pursue this pilot credit. From the project beginning we downloaded the credit language and related documentation which helped us to address the measures throughout the project. Safety was a critical part of the entire project team culture.

Hey Denise, if you haven't already found it (or others are looking), it is provided via a hyperlink at the bottom of this credit's page in the Pilot Credit Library. It's under the Documentation Requirements section.
The hyperlink takes you straight here: https://www.usgbc.org/resources/prevention-through-design-pilot-process-...

Ug, this happens a lot when I try to post links - I think our firewall system affects the address. Try going to the regular LEED Credit Library, for the Pilot Credits, and then find this credit's page. It'll be within that.

I agree! For us, it was very helpful to develop the worksheet hand in hand with the Integrative Process worksheet. Much of the information gathered during the workhops for the IP credit, were useful for the development of the PtD protocol and worksheet, and viceversa, by including a health and safety expert in the IP workshops we had a realiable input for safety and health during the building construction and operation.

In our experience working in an industrial warehouse, this was especially useful since we manage to implement synergy between the health and safety construction team and the operation and maintenance safety team by having them work together for the development of the PtD and IP worksheets.
