Hi Paula! Hope you are fine. Luckily, we have managed to keep on working from home. But our concern comes along with credits that involve work on site. Construction is paralyzed for undefined time. We might be afraid that the whole certification process is lost due to this situation.
For example, we wonder what happens with IAQ, ESC and CWM monthly reports if there is no activity at all? Nevertheless, it doesnt depend on us. We can just hope that the world heals soon, and our lifes re-establish as well.

Hello to all! I hope for everyone's safety and health during these uncertain times.
My team is just wondering, are there any updates from the USGBC/GBCI regarding the sunset deadlines for projects pursuing LEED v2009? This is supposed to be in June 2021. Will there be any extensions in conncetion to the COVID-19 situation?
Construction activites here in the Philippines are currently on hold; thus our scehudle of CxA activites are also delayed due to today's situation.
Thank you very much! God Bless.

Hi, Hannah! This page has the info and says to contact them if you have a special situation. I have not heard any talk of moving the official sunset date ... yet.

The pandemic did not affect my work in any way. Almost all my work is done remotely, so I hardly noticed any changes :)

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has required organizations and employees to change what, how, and where work is performed. As current prevention and treatment options necessitate continued social distancing, focus is shifting toward preparing for a redefined future.

Now, in 2021, same situation is going to happen! We need to have preparation in hand to fight with this deadly Corona virus!

Of note, they did move the sunset date for v3 projects out a year to June 2022, as listed on Paula's link above.
Sunsetting v3 seems like it's still a pretty big deal; I know I still have numerous v3 projects not yet in review. I'm surprised GBCI/USGBC hasn't put out more notifications about it.

I recently got an email from a regional USGBC outreach person about our outstanding v3 project, to check that it is on track and offer support if not. Not sure if that was just a Midwest thing or if they're rolling out those check-ins nationally/globally.
