CS-2009 IEQc8.1:Daylight and Views—Daylight

To what extent we provide Tenant fitout

Hi, my project has 19 office floors, and one floor is already fitted out by tenant. So the rest 18 floors are empty - open office. I was of the understanding that daylight and view credit require proposed tenant fitout but I don't know to what extent we have to propose it. Is one tenant layout on one floor enough or Should I have another tenant layout designed for the rest of 18 floors? Thanks for your advice

Using the current tenants layout would work for all floors. There is no requirement that each floor has to be different.

I agree with Todd that one layout will work. For daylight simulation, you probably want to consider the surrounding building as well. If there is no surrounding building and you want to get better understanding of daylight in the space, I will recommend to run at least two floors, the lowest one and the highest one. You will get slightly different pattern because of the exposure to sky and the impact of ground reflectance.
