What documentation are you uploading to meet the credit requirements?

  • The Credit Language reads "Specify..." for so many of the requirements.
    • This would lead me to understand they want to see the specifications that call out No Lead in..., No Cadmium..., 
    • The Template notes to provide documentation - is this cut-sheets/submittals?

With Lead regulations and Cadmium being largely no longer used due to known health risks, is this an issue that needs to be documented?

  • Lead in paints (in US) is limited to 0.009% - and is only used in Industrial, Marine, and Automotive applications.
  • Cadmium does not appear to have the same regulatory ban, but looking up Sherwin-Williams, the information clearly states that Cadmium is not used in ANY of their 'residential' paints.
  • With this knowledge - what are the reviewers wanting to see for documentation? Can we lean on our Specifications or must we submit cutsheets for ALL products that could contain Lead/Cadmium?
