I went to submit my project today and received an error message stating "Your project has not been assigned a CB. You will receive an email notification when a CB has been assigned." What does this mean?! I registered this project back in 2015 so not sure why the necessary assignments and whatever have not been done.

Lelianie - CB stands for Certification Body, which is a really old term that GBCI used to use for various reviewing firms. But it appears they use this term generically for themselves as well. While I haven't ever gotten the message you describe, I understand how frustrated receiving it is. If you haven't already, use the Contact form at http://www.gbci.org/contact and report the issue directly to GBCI who will be able to help you. Click Certification Question and pick Project Administration Question for the category in the form.
