During the Design Review, we have submitted the LT pre-requisite/credit Indoor Water Use Reduction and we have earned a total of 6 points. We are now going to submit the Construction Phase and we added shower features to comply with the LT credit Bicycle Facilities.
We have not experienced resubmitting an awarded credit before. How to proceed with the documentation related to the LT pre-requisite/credit Indoor Water Use Reduction? Do we need to pay for an appeal of that credit? We have redone the calculations and the total points to be earned are still the same.

It took me a bit to find this in my archives, but here's a response from LEED Coach from one of my projects where something similar happened:
"If any changes occur to the project after the design review that might affect the point total, approach or credit/prerequisite compliance, those changes must be re-reviewed by GBCI. In these cases, documentation for the affected credits must be updated and submitted for one additional round of review during the construction phase. Please be sure to include a narrative outlining what were the changes in scope, as well as any supporting documentation. For more information please refer the "Review' section of the Guide to Certification (https://new.usgbc.org/cert-guide/commercial#review). Please note there is no fee to re-submit the affected design credits. "
Hope that helps.

that's correct - you can always reopen an already awarded or denied credit and mark it as ready for review in a later phase, without triggering an appeal fee, for design changes. This specific example - a new plumbing fixture - is a pretty common example.
other common situations are:
- project adds aerators to faucets to lower flow rate
- a new transit stop opens near the project and you can pick up another point
- lighting fixtures are changed out and you need to rerun light pollution calcs and/or the energy model
You WOULD need to submit an appeal if:
- the construction final review is already complete
- you are only submitting a documentation change and not a design change. For example, you notice a mistake in your water calculator that could have gotten you another point and want to rerun it.
This specific one is pretty straightforward, not an appeal, but I hope that helps for anyone else following along :)

Hi, Emily! Thank you for the answer, it was really clarifying.
It also helped us with another issue concerning updates for the LT credit Access to quality transit, where we had an increase in the bus lines and trips.
