Hello everyone,
I have a project for a manufacturing plant, which has some warehouse modules. These modules have a supply of fresh air through louvers and an extraction through fans. Also, these modules have no cooling or heating. My question is whether these modules can and should be evaluated with the IAQ Performance Calculator?
Beforehand thank you very much,
Antonio

Hello Antonio,
Did you get an answer to your question above?
We are also working on a similar project, and have the same concerns.
Thank you!

I had an identical project last year and GBCI required that the exhaust fans be included within the vent calculator and meet the monitoring requirements of the prereq.

Thanks David. Consult, from they are extraction fans, they would not be the filtering requirement. Didn't you have problems with that requirement?

The project did not pursue EQc Enhanced IAQ Strategies, thus no filter requirements required by LEED.
EQp Minimum IAQ Performance requires projects to comply with ASHRAE 62.1-2010 sections 4-7. Warehouses are exempt from Outdoor Air Treatment per section 6.2.1 of the standard.
I am unaware of any other mandatory filter requirements in this specific instance.
