My project has a 6,500sf office space serving a 207,000sf warehouse/distribution center (213,500sf total area). The office has three doors that lead to the warehouse.
The warehouse building has 25 exit doors and 20 dock doors with one exit door that is used regularly by warehouse employees entering the warehouse.
If an entry system is placed at this single warehouse door used by the employees to enter the building and at the office main entry will the three doors leading from the office to the warehouse need entry systems?
All exits will be noted as such on the plan.
Thanks

Hi Saul, this is a great question. I recommend placing entryway systems at the entrances between the office and warehouse. Check out the NC v4 Warehouses guidance below (and at www.leeduser.com/credit/Warehouses-NC-v4/EQc1#lang-tab) which lays out best practices for protecting IAQ in a warehouse situation.
" A. ENTRYWAY SYSTEMS
Install permanent entryway systems at least 10 feet (3 meters) long in the primary direction of travel to capture dirt and particulates entering the building at regularly used exterior entrances. Acceptable entryway systems include permanently installed grates, grilles, slotted systems that allow for cleaning underneath, rollout mats, and any other materials manufactured as entryway systems with equivalent or better performance. Maintain all on a weekly basis.
Entryway systems are not required at doors leading from the exterior to the loading dock or garage but must be installed between these spaces and adjacent office areas. "

Thank you for the reply Trista.
Also, very helpful to see general guidance for warehouse projects.
