If I read the v4 VOC content requirements literally (always a risky proposition) then it appears that wet applied adhesives and sealants must only meet the chemical content requirements of SCAQMD Rule 1168, but NOT the VOC limits of that standard. Is that correct? And where are the chemical content requirements found in Rule 1168? Is it the statement at the front of the standard under Purpose and Applicability: "...eliminate emissions of chloroform, ethylene dichloride, methylene chloride, perchloroethylene, and trichloroethylene from the application of adhesives, adhesive bonding primers,..." ? If anyone can shed light I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
