I was looking for the definition of Permanent Interior Obstruction and found that fixed partitions are considered in this definitions, that seems obvious for me.
However when looking for the methodology for the view type 3 it refers that if there are permanent interior obstructions the space is not compliant for this option. My questions is:
- If the permanent interior obstruction is a transparent glass partitions can i still consider for compliance the rooms that have vision to exterior through it if are within the distance of three times the head height of the vision glazing?

Yes, if the partition is transparent you can allow views. You can do interior views through two layers of interior glass.

Todd, thank you for your brief response. Can you tell me where is such reference documented?

Wonderful to hear 2 interior layers of glazing is permitted Todd, thanks for the guidance! I've searched for confirmation of this in event review comments arise.....but haven't been able to locate in either the Reference guide or posted addenda. Is this more of an informal understanding with GBCI/LEED reviewers?
