Since View Type 3 entails unobstructed views located WITHIN the distance of three times the head height of the vision glazing, can private office spaces also apply for that view type if the distance from the workstation to the window is within three times the head height of the vision glazing?

Yes. any floor area within 3 times the window head height can be counted. Even if you have a private office adjacent to the window wall and its only 10 feet deep, it can be included. Draw a line on a plan at 3 times the height and add up the regularly occupied floor area.

Following up on this question, for the three times head height rule - do we count the area in front of the window only? or any area within three time the head height of the window which has a direct line of sight to that window can be counted?
