In the 4.1 addenda section it states:
• For each qualifying transit route, total trips (inbound and outbound) are counted towards the threshold.
Does this mean that I can count each direction's trips?
Also, I'm recalling something about - if a bus line connects to a metro line within 2 miles. Am I allowed to include the metro trips if this is the case?

The addenda regarding trip count (https://www.usgbc.org/leedaddenda/100002431) applies to project-sponsored transit. The rating system does state that for public transit, "For each qualifying transit route, only trips in one direction are counted towards the threshold."
Bus lines connecting to metro lines was a v2 / v2009 option (https://www.usgbc.org/leedaddenda/100001163). It does not apply to v4 or v4.1.
