My company has a CSR report that complies with the requirements in Option 2. We have found that when our company makes up at least 20% (by cost) of the design contract we can easily achieve the requirements of this pilot credit. I have just documented this credit for a Design-Build project where my company made up almost 100% of the design team. I encourage project teams to take a look at this pilot credit to see if they can achieve it too.

I'm in the process of completing the documentation for this credit but I expect some issues acquiring a letter from the owner stating the % by contract $ for the value of our work on the design team for our project. Hopefully we don't have any issues. Otherwise, the rest of the documentation is relatively straightforward.
I've been able to utilize this Pilot credit on several projects where our company makes up at least 20% (by cost) of the design contract. It's great to see a LEED credit that rewards the sustainable and ethical operations of the design and construction firms that create our buildings, and not just the buildings themselves. The documentation requirements for this credit are pretty easy to understand and follow, and it's always rewarding to see confirmation that the company that you're working for is doing the right thing and this effort is acknowledged.
We are planning to pursue this approach on a current project because our company complies with the requirements for Option 2. We are the lead consultant for the project providing a complete range of design services. The client has provided a letter stating this but the contract value is not included. I'd be interested to understand if this is sufficient or whether the reviewers will require more detail to demonstrate credit compliance?
My company complies with Option 2 as well as we have been a JUST certified company for the past few years. While I was not involved with the certification process, nor am I involved with the recertification process, I know it requires full transparency and regular sharing of organizational information. As an employee in a JUST firm, I appreciate this process and the policies and discussion that have resulted from analysis in to our JUST label over the years, and I invite more companies similarly to engage in this level of transparency and social accountability.
For your signatories to confirm your company / project team's firms / client's company has meet the requirements, is it the CEO or have you found substitutes?
We have had our Corporate Environment and Sustainability Program Manager sign the letter on our submissions.
Hi, I have gathered all the information required for compliace of this credit, however, the company does not have a B Corporation or JUST Label certificaction, it is enought to upload the corporate sustainability report to achieve this credit?
I do not believe that B Corp or JUST is mandatory. Now that I read them again the requirements aren't very clear, but they seem to require only one of the items in the list.
We are using a corporate CSR and Global Code of Ethics documents for credit pathway option 2. Has there been any success referencing the CEO and senior teams letters/notes at the front end of the CSR as compliant with the LEED template letter? I see above attempting to utilize Corporate Environment and Sustainability Program Manager, we will try this too!
For signatories to confirm that our clients company has met the requirements, the template does list and suggest the CEO, however, we found that the Senior ESG Director (not company CEO) was able to verify they have met the requirements.
