Unused Floors

Hi Guys,

I am working on an office building that has been designed with one of its floors to be empty and unused for the foreseeable future. Does anyone know if this floor is required by LEED to have HVAC installed and if it needs to be considered to meet with ASHRAE standards despite it being unused and blocked off? Thanks.

No it is not required to be installed. The systems get modeled identically in both models.
