I am working on a LEED project with revolving doors. The targetted U value for glaze is 1.9 W/Sqft.K (including frames), SHGC 0.25. During the material submittal review, we noticed that the revolving door has U value of 5.6 W/Sqf.K. The supplier is saying that complying to 1.9 W/Sqft.K is not possible as such specifications for revolving doors are not available. Do we have any guidance in ASHRAE 90.1 or similar for revolving doors?

Is it fine if we neglect the thermal compliance of revolving doors? I know it is theoretically not desirable as the revolving door could act as the hotspot of heat gain in the project. Kindly provide your feedback.
