This one is a retail project in Thailand. The store has many tracklights due to which we are not able to get the required power savings in lighting. I know that installing current limiters for tracklight is one of the ways to decrease the wattage, but is it possible without it? I mean if I use only dimmer control for all the tracklights in sales area, can I justify that the consumption by these tracklights are only say 50% of maximum due to dimmer controls? Or do I have to consider maximum lighting power in my calculations as per original I.e. 98W/m?

Section 9.1.4 outines what you must count for track lighting. Seer also Section 9.6.2 regarding additional allowances for retail spaces.
