In the form section "Summary of Heat Island Reduction Measures" does the Total project paving area (sq m) refer to the total hardscaped area on a site?

We are pursuing option 1. Non-roof areas on site include reflective paving in addition to tarmacadam car parking spaces.

Hi Shane, I do believe the total project paving area is synonymous with the total hardscape area for a site. That's the way my projects have documented it, anyway, and the reviewers have yet to ask about it. We do supply detailed hardscape area takeoffs as part of our LEED Boundary plan, which is provided for several separate credits.
