We're pursuing "Social equity within the project team" with Option 2.
Under Requirement, it’s stated that “Certifications/reporting must be publicly accessible, be created within 2 years of submission,…”. So if a project is finished and they take two years to submit (which definitely happens), this could mean the firms could comply if certified after completion but before submission, which doesn’t seem to meet the intent.
Anyone any thoughts on this?

Hello Christoph,
I think the statement “Certifications/reporting must be publicly accessible, be created within 2 years of submission,…”, refers to the past, so if you are submitting today (2022) you can use reports or certifications for 2020 and/or 2021.

I hope your submission went well. I agree with Mauricio, most of the reports that companies post on their websites indicate the year when the report was issued and need to be updated, not more than 2 years before LEED Online submission, if you plan to use this as a supporting document.

For projects using the JUST label certification, which has a specific MM/DD/YY of expiry and last for two years, we understand the credit language to require projects to have an active certification at the time of submitting for LEED certification.
