We have a project already passed the Design Phase review almost one year ago then the project was suspended during construction by the Owner for their internal reasons and recently restarted again and will reach Substantial Completion soon. We are yet to submit the Construction Phase submittal, so I am concerned that there might be a time limit for submission purposes, is there?

As long as its not a v2.1 there should be no problem with submitting the construction credits.

Steve, please send in a request for an extension as needed using our Contact Us link (http://www.gbci.org/contactus). We are glad to provide extensions as long as it does not compromise the integrity of the rating system's process (as it would with an initial EBOM submittal) and is not for a rating system that is near or past its sunset date. For more information on Sunset dates, please see the Certification Policy Manual (http://www.leedonline.com/irj/go/km/docs/documents/usgbc/leed/config/ter...). Information on NC projects is on page 28, section 7.

Thank you Elizabeth, we just applied for Project Review Extension Request, with so many rules from MPR to the Certification Policy Manual and more, admittedly it is rather difficult to keep up to speed.
This is a LEED-CI project and for all readers, be warned that if you opted for the split reviews, you have only 1 year max to submit the Construction Phase after attaining Design Final Review status.
