NC-v4 MRc3:Building product disclosure and optimization - sourcing of raw materials

Is there a limit to how many products can use the same CSR?

An industry-wide (generic) EPD can be used for up to 10 products listed within the industry-wide EPD, provided that each application has separately reported impacts within the EPD. Is there a similar rule for CSR's? Our project is using 16 products manufactured by BASF, can we use this Third Party Verified CSR for all products? http://bericht.basf.com/2016/en/servicepages/downloads/files/BASF_Report_2016.pdf

HI Alexa,In principal I think you could use one report for up to 16 products, as long as you also had reports from at least 4 other suppliers to get to required number of 5 different manufacturers. However, it's very unlikely that this report will qualify as it doesn't provide details on raw material extraction as required in the credit language. On page 94 it says: "In  2016,  BASF  purchased  a
total of around 30,000 different raw materials from more than
6,000  suppliers." But it devotes only a page and a half to all Raw Materials. This problem isn't unique to BASF: Very few CSRs do better, so I don't consider this credit achievable right now--USGBC needs to do more to clarify what it's looking for here, I believe.
