Has anyone used the Greengrade add-on package offered by Textura? What is / was your experience with it? I am starting a project using Textura's Submittal Exchange program and the client is interested in implementing the Greengrade package, but I would like to know if it's worth the extra up front cost. Thanks!

Cynthia, I would HIGHLY recommend the use of Greengrade for all your LEED projects. My company Uncommon purchased a package of the software last year and have noticed a significant improvement in efficiency on our LEED projects. It has also helped us improve the accuracy of our documentation because we spend less time chasing tasks and reports. For us, the cost of the software paid off immediately. It is also ALOT friendlier to use than LEED Online. I have a few projects now that are not on Greengrade (just using LOL) and I can't tell you how frustrating those are comparatively. My consultant team loves it also, except when they're not on top of their tasks and now I can see that real time!

I wholeheartedly agree with everything Nicole Ferrini states above. We are also using Greengrade on multiple projects and find it to be well worth the investment. Once you get into it, you will never want to do a LEED project without it. I was extremely skeptical for many years about Greengrade. We finally made the decision to try it, and now we wish we could use it on all our projects! And no, I am not being paid by Textura.
