Does anyone have advice for a building where we are unable to find the drawings which specify the Design CFM for some of the exhaust fans? We have exhausted the search and can not find the drawings.

If you are planning to reuse the existing system it would be beneficial to know how much air flow is being provided to each space and it is critical to know the amount of outside air provided by the AHUs. I'd recommend hiring a testing and balancing contractor.

Thank you. We have done air testing but dont we need to show that we are within 10% of the design CFM for the exhaust fans to show that they are performing as designed.

I think you could estimate the appropriate air flow for the exhaust fans. If you do not have someone on your project team already who is comfortable with this, try contacting an HVAC engineer.
