Hi all, this is my question:
For a terrazzo flooring, to be made on site, there are different materials that arrive to site as separated. For ex : cement, aggregates, pigments, and fillers. Other materials are used for the finishing and sealing phase, after rough grinding and grinding/polishing ones. Are they all to be considered different products for credits based on numbers of products and also for credits based on product costs?
Thanks a lot

Hello,
The intro of the materials section in the reference guide covers your question. It states that a product includes the physical components and services needed to serve the intended function, and if there are similar products each contributes as a separate product as long as they have different formulations or purposes. Furthermore, it says that "products that arrive as an ingredient or component used in a site-assembled product such as concrete admixtures are considered separate products because each component serves a different function; each component is therefore a separate product." Therefore, I would think that the elements that make up your terrazzo flooring can be considered different products for both quantity and cost.
