Pilot-Credits MRpc132:Procurement of Low Carbon Construction Materials

Tally as the LCA Database/Tool

We are currently considering pursuing this credit for a project. However, I am not sure what the definition of an "approved data provider" would be. Is this any data provider that would also apply to LEED Credit Building Life Cycle Impact Reduction option 4? Is there another definition out there that is clearer?

We would like to use Tally, since this is what we use for a majority of our LCA projects and the outputs are simple enough to format for LEED documentation, but it appears that this credit leans towards using EC3.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Charlie, LCA databases use average numbers for the purposes of modeling. EC3 uses product-specific EPDs. I don't think Tally or a similar LCA database would be appropriate for this pilot credit. Moreover, EC3 is free and open to anyone (unlike Tally and other LCA tools). But I'll contact another person who might have more insight.

Has there been any update on that ? One click has a pretty extensive library of EPDs that might qualify it.

Hi! Are there any update? Anyway, we used OneCLick LCA database for our project
