Table 7.8 DHW performance requirements for electric instantaneous water heater

I see there is "Gas Instantaneous Water Heaters" in Table 7.8, but there is not an "Electric Instantaneous Water Heater" in the table.  Is the "Electric Water Heaters" term meant to be generic and apply to both electric storage and instantaneous water heaters?

No. Electric instantaneous water heaters are not covered by the standard given their absense from this table. So there is no efficiency requirement. In reality there is no real difference in efficiency among the electric instantaneous water heaters on the market so no need for a minimum efficiency.
