I'm curious about whether other teams have had success with meeting the requirements of Table 2 in terms of the minimum amount of laundry that must be done per year to qualify for the point.  Both the 120,000 lbs/year and the 2,400 lbs/8 hour shift seem to be pretty high thresholds to clear for an "average" high school (~2,000 students, not a boarding school, using somewhere in the range of a 35 lb capacity commercial washer to serve sports teams and possibly PE uses). I would be even more surprised if any middle or elementary schools could meet these requirements, even if they did include otherwise compliant (max 1.8 gal/lb) commercial washers.

If you did meet the threshold for being able to use the table, are you finding many manufacturers who are forthcoming with the gal/lb metric that LEED asks for?
