Hi Everyone,
For a C&S project in LEED V4, I'm thinking to switch "Cooling Tower Water" in V4.1 "Optimize Process Water" because there is no cooling Tower in the project. But I did'nt undertand if it's allowed to switch only this credit or if we must switch also Indoor Water use and Outdoor Water use, because the points of this 3 credits moved in V4.1.

I had reached out to GBCI to ask a similar question because the points distribution for Outdoor Water Use Reduction under v4.1 C+S is different, and this was their reply:
"If pursuing three points in Outdoor Water Use Reduction, Core and Shell project teams must mark Indoor Water Use Reduction as attempted in LEED Online to properly distribute points.
For LEED v4.1 Core and Shell projects, points are re-allocated from Indoor Water Use Reduction to Outdoor Water Use Reduction and Optimize Process Water Use to better align with Core and Shell scope of work. In LEED Online, the third point for Outdoor Water Use Reduction would be applied within Indoor Water Use Reduction."
Based on this, it sounds like we are not required to switch all water credits to v4.1 but that points will be distributed differently.
