Sub Metering of Service Hot Water (Domestic Hot Water)

Does Service hot water need to be sub-metered to satisfy this credit ? If not will it make the energy model more difficult to calibrate.

Nothing needs to be submetered. Whether you submeter it or gather the operational data through other means depends on several factors including the significance of the hot water energy use, whether it is gas or electric, what other loads use the same fuel source, etc.
