We have an internal debate regarding whether solid surface counter tops should be included in the EQc2 complinace documentation. The guidance explicitly states that composite wood (i.e. MDF) cabinetry should be included in composite wood and freestanding cabinets should be included in furniture. We assume the counters are included in these general cabinetry statements. However, what about built-in cabinetry and counters made of solid surface or other non-composite-wood materials? As they are not part of the wall systems and do not fit into any of the other categories, we assume they would technically not need to be tracked but that leaves an entire application to fall through a loophole. Thoughts??

We have submitted built-in cabinetry as you described above, in the "wall" category and had them accepted.
