we set our site boundary per USGBC rules on this (building, portion of site regularly used by and relating to function of the building, etc). there is an adjacent tract of land also under construction by same owner but that building is not pursuing LEED. contractor is asking about things such as conduit underground, utility infrastructure underground etc. some of it relates to leed building, some doesn't. for example, we have storm drain filters but what about the conduit the rain water goes in. if it's made out of recycled content does it help with recycled material credit?

MR credits for recycled content, etc. only address Divisions 03 – 10, 31 6000, 32 3000, and 32 9000. So if it's not in one of those divisions, it's great if it's regionally sourced and has recycled content, it's good for the planet, but it's not part of the scope of documentation.
