Hello, im documenting this credit for the firs time ever, and little confused over something. in the sample attached on this website (3 story school with section views), the "cone" of vision seems to stop arbitrarily in the middle of the room - rather than go all the way to the back of the room. Is this just a meaningless thing i'm thinking too much about? or is there some method to choosing where in the room the persons eyes are?

Michael, If the regularly occupied space being used in the calculation does not go the entire length of the room, then you can start you line of site drawings where that ends. Lets say you have an open office plan with the main path of travel located near the core of the floorplate. Corridors are not considered regularly occupied, so your line of site starts where the occupants will be working. It is pretty typical to provide a sectional drawing and just draw a line at 42 across the entire section.
