Is sheet membrane waterproofing/crack isolation considered an underlayment that needs to be documented in the Low-Emitting Materials Flooring category? I have used troweled products that are documented in the Paints & Coatings category, but I am not familiar with the sheet products. If they do need to be included are there products that meet the LEED v4.1 VOC Emissions criteria?

Below can be found the question I sent and the response received:
We see wet-applied on site waterproofing sealers like Laticrete Hydro Ban on a regular bases and include them in the Paints & Coatings Low-Emitting Materials category. Would a sheet membrane waterproofing/crack isolation material be considered an underlayment that needs to be documented in the Low-Emitting Materials Flooring category since it is not wet-applied, or would it not be considered an underlayment? Underlayment is not included in the USGBC Glossary.
GBCI Response:
All products within the waterproofing membrane must be included in the credit documentation. As this product is part of the waterproofing membrane itself, it may be excluded.
